Try to avoid what triggers your allergy. Tell friends, family, and colleagues what allergies are so they are aware what you can and can't have to eat for example.
Know how to recognise the symptoms of anaphylaxis and spread that knowledge to those around you. Our handy patient card here can be shared with friends and family, simply download, print and cut to size Anapen Patient Card (click to download)
Have your Anapen duo pack available at all times and ensure they are within expiry. You can register your devices using our Expiry Alert Service and we will remind you! If they are close to expiry, have expired, or have been used in the event of an anaphylactic reaction, seek a new prescription from your Doctor.
Practise with your Anapen trainers and do this with friends and family etc so they know how to use them too.
Watch the Anapen training video and make a note of refreshing this knowledge frequently.
